New Majura FC Committee Members Welcomed
...but President Still Needed
Four new executive committee members were welcomed to Majura FC at the AGM held last week - however the club is still without a President. The only returning executive committee member was our Treasurer, Chris Ambler. The new executive faces include:
- Rainer Reuss, Vice President Football
- Ann Northcote, Secretary
- Steve Rempel, Registrar
- David Horner, Equipment Officer
Two positions remain vacant (President and Vice President Operations) and these must be filled before the season gets underway in 2014.
It has never been easier to be part of the Majura committee as the last committee worked hard to ensure the club is in a very sound financial position and put in place paid positions to take the work load off volunteer committee members. So if you love being part of the football community, and want to help the club, then please consider filling a role on the Majura FC Committee.
If you would like to lead the ship and take on the President’s position then please contact either Jo Smith or Rainer Reuss.
What is Premier League?

Majura sees our division 1 teams as pathway teams for players that may eventually like to play premier league. Players need to have (for their age) good ball skills, game awareness, fitness and commitment. Players develop at different rates and the pathway teams are about making sure players develop at their own pace and continue to play competitively. | The FFA have set up premier league competitions throughout Australia to ensure that the best play the best.
